Three of Me is a heavy rock band from Porto, formed at the end of 2019 and consisting of Ricardo Dourado (vocals/rhythm guitar), Miguel Dourado (bass/back vocals), TJ Abreu (lead guitar/back vocals), and João Chaves (drums). They made their stage debut in February 2020 and have since performed at various venues across the country, including a sold-out show at Metalpoint to present their first album, "Black Dog", which was released on March 21, 2021, available in physical format and on all digital platforms through The Skull Room Studio.
Throughout their journey, Three of Me has shared the stage with major names in Portuguese rock and metal such as R.A.M.P., Seventh Storm, Godiva, Godark, Kandia, The Insane Slave, and Ionized. They have also performed at festivals like Riverstone, The Skull Room Rockfest, and most recently at Laurus Nobilis 2024, which featured a brilliant lineup with many amazing bands.
Their new album, "Silence in the Attic", delves into themes of mental health, exploring the various stages and moods affected by a lack of mental strength, and the struggle against the "black hole" that tears within. It speaks to those moments when, even in company, one feels alone, crushed by the deafening silence in their own head. The lead single, "Sick", is already out, garnering over 30,000 views on YouTube.
