Formed in 2000, SOULSKINNER has been a prominent force in the Greek death metal scene for nearly 25 years. Emerging from their roots as Terra Tenebrae in 1997, the band changed its name to SOULSKINNER in 2000 to better align with their evolving musical direction. With a sound characterized by brutal riffing, melodic depth, and an epic atmosphere, SOULSKINNER has released five albums to date, and "Glorified by the Light" will mark their sixth full-length record and fourth release under Xtreem Music.
"Glorified by the Light" continues the band’s tradition of combining old-school death metal with epic and melodic elements, weaving in lyrical themes of mysticism, darkness, and philosophical reflections.
