Italian black metal band Orgg has made a name for itself through their evocative exploration of the alpine front during the First World War, blending atmospheric black metal with historical narratives. Formed in 2018, the band’s mission is not to glorify war but to highlight the stark contrast between the horrors of the conflict and the majestic natural landscape of the Alps, capturing both the pain of battle and nature's resilience.

Orgg’s debut album, "The Great White War", released on January 18, 2020, delves into the brutal battles between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Italy in the Dolomitic Alps. The album, rooted in the historical backdrop of the First World War, weaves local lore with the stark realities of warfare, earning international acclaim for its haunting portrayal of the conflict.

Building on this success, Orgg released their second album, "Dimonios", on June 20, 2022. With the addition of renowned drummer David Folchitto, the band expanded their sound, exploring more complex themes of war and nature while maintaining the powerful black metal soundscape they’re known for. "Dimonios" continues the band's thematic exploration of the First World War, and tracks like “Die Eisstadt” further demonstrate Orgg’s unique ability to create immersive soundscapes that transport listeners to the battlefields of the Dolomites.

Now, Orgg prepares for their third studio album, set for release in 2025, with a new line-up. With Vulak (guitars), Iblis (bass guitar), L. (vocals), Tymarr (guitar), and Vael (drums), the band is ready to further their journey into the depths of history and the human experience. The upcoming album will continue the band's deep exploration of the First World War. As with their previous work, the album will feature the masterful artwork of Vladimir "Smerdulak" Chebakov, whose visuals perfectly complement Orgg's thematic focus.
