With "Homicidal Therapy," BleedSkin this Canadian death metal band that has been active since 2016 almost, opens a new chapter in their struggles within this metal sub-genre. The album consists of a relentless barrage of violent guitar riffs, pounding drums and growling vocals. Inspired by Cannibal Corpse, Abnormality, and Dying Fetus, this recent release features 10 tracks that will surely punish the listeners while taking them into the wilderness of violence and angst.
The creation of the band is dated September 2016, a month when BleedSkin was founded by Céline Mazay (guitars) and Rémy Adam (bass). They consider themselves localized metal in the demo ‘The Rotten One’ released in 2018. Since that period, they have also gained considerable recognition by sharing stages with Sinister, Blood Red Throne, Sisters of Suffocation, and attending Durbuy Rock Festival in the year 2022.
In light of the band’s intense musicality, ‘Homicidal Therapy’ comes as a sequel of sorts, having preceded the much acclaimed debut album ‘Blood Reign’ which was released in the year 2020. With the help of the bonus ones such as "Echoes of The Past" and "Spread Your Venom", this album raises death metal its technical and brutish sides even more. Post production was done under the care of Julian Huyssens, at Namod Studio Based in Belgium, where a sharp and very heavy mix was guaranteed.
