With Homicidal Therapy, BleedSkin, a Belgian death metal band active since 2016, opens a new chapter in their exploration of this intense sub-genre. The album unleashes a relentless barrage of brutal guitar riffs, pounding drums, and guttural vocals. Inspired by Cannibal Corpse, Abnormality, and Dying Fetus, this release features ten tracks designed to push listeners into a world of aggression and chaos.
The band was founded in September 2016 by Céline Mazay (vocals/guitars) and Rémy Adam (vocals/bass). They gained initial recognition with their 2018 demo, The Rotten One. Since then, they have shared stages with Sinister, Blood Red Throne, and Sisters of Suffocation and performed at the 2022 Durbuy Rock Festival.
Homicidal Therapy serves as a continuation of their acclaimed debut album, Blood Reign, released in 2020. With tracks like "Echoes of The Past" and "Spread Your Venom," the album further elevates the technical and raw nature of death metal. Mixing and mastering were expertly handled by Julien Huyssens at Nomad Studio in Belgium, resulting in a sharp and heavy sound.
