Italian black metal band Orgg, known for their evocative exploration of the alpine front of the First World War, is proud to announce an updated line-up as they prepare for their upcoming third studio album, set for release in 2025.

Formed in 2018, Orgg was born out of a desire to capture the excruciating pain and brutal reality of the First World War (Gebirgskrieg in German, Guerra Bianca in Italian), focusing on the fierce battles between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Italy in the Dolomitic Alps. The band’s music merges local lore with historical events, highlighting the stark contrast between the horrors of war and the majestic natural landscape of the Alps. Orgg’s mission is not to glorify war but to celebrate nature's resilience against the destructive actions of humankind.

Orgg released their debut album, The Great White War, on January 18, 2020. The album’s haunting portrayal of war’s brutality, coupled with the band’s atmospheric black metal sound, garnered international acclaim and a solid fanbase. This success led to a partnership with Io Pan Records/Eternal Winter Records, who produced and distributed the CD version of the album.

Building on this momentum, Orgg released their second album, Dimonios, on June 20, 2022, through Eternal Winter Records. The album, which retained much of the original line-up from their debut, featured renowned extreme metal drummer David Folchitto. With Dimonios, Orgg continued to refine their sound while delving deeper into the themes of war and nature.

To bring their powerful discography to life on stage, Orgg has strengthened their line-up. The current line-up now consists of Vulak (guitars), Iblis (bass guitar), L. (vocals), Tymarr (guitar), and Vael (drums). This expanded line-up ensures that Orgg is fully equipped to deliver their immersive live performances, embodying the intense emotions and historical depth of their music.

Orgg is currently in the process of crafting their third album, which is scheduled for release in 2025. This new project will continue the band's deep exploration of the First World War, with a particular focus on the battles in the Dolomites. As with their previous work, the album will feature the masterful artwork of Vladimir "Smerdulak" Chebakov, whose visuals perfectly complement Orgg's thematic focus.
