[news] ANIALATOR Reveal First Single, Cover Art, and Tracklist for Long-Awaited Debut Album
Mythical Texas thrashers ANIALATOR have finally unveiled details for their highly anticipated first full-length album, Death is Calling, set for release on October 22nd, 2024, via Xtreem Music. The album will be available in CD, 12" LP, cassette, and digital formats.
Formed in 1986, ANIALATOR quickly made their mark with a demo recorded in December of that year, followed by two EPs in 1988 and 1989. After an unreleased demo in 1990, the band changed their name to SUFFERANCE. In 2015, ANIALATOR reformed and released Mission of Death in 2017, a compilation of all their recordings, through Xtreem Music. The label also released their EP Rise to Supremacy in 2018.
The journey to their debut album was not without challenges. In 2021, a former member disputed the rights to the ANIALATOR name. After a legal battle, it was confirmed that the name rightfully belongs to original member Alex Dominguez. During this period, the band underwent some lineup changes while continuing to work on their long-awaited album. The result is Death is Calling, a testament to their enduring presence in the thrash metal scene.
