Swedish heavy metal band GAUNTLET RULE has officially signed with Fighter Records for the release of their upcoming second album, "After the Kill", set to drop on November 12th, 2024 in both CD and digital formats.

Formed in 2019 by guitarist Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Massacre) and bassist Peter Svensson (Assassin's Blade, Void Moon), GAUNTLET RULE was born with the aim of crafting timeless heavy metal. The lineup was solidified with the addition of vocalist Teddy Möller (Loch Vostok), and despite coming from different musical backgrounds, the band has managed to forge a unique sound while staying true to the essence of classic metal.

Following the success of their debut album "The Plague Court" (Target Rec., 2022), Kjetil Lynghaug and Marcus Rosenkvist joined the group on lead guitar and drums, respectively. The band's lyrics explore themes of horror, war, internal struggles, and supernatural elements, sometimes combining multiple concepts in a single track.

The cover art for "After the Kill" was crafted by Juan Felipe More Ibáñez and features guest vocal appearances by Jacques Bélanger (Assassin's Blade/ex-Exciter) on "Bite the Hand That Feels" and Federica De Boni (White Skull) on the title track "After the Kill."
