Belgium-based Entering Polaris is set to release their ambitious double album, Myths In Motion / Songs Of Ivory And Obsidian, on September 5, 2024, via Freya Records. This release offers two contrasting sides of the band's sound—one electric and heavy, the other acoustic and melancholic.
Myths In Motion delivers an energetic and dynamic experience, packed with intricate progressive metal compositions. In contrast, Songs Of Ivory And Obsidian explores a more introspective and atmospheric side, featuring haunting melodies, piano, string sections, choirs, and classical percussion.
The album showcases the talents of an extensive lineup of guest musicians, including notable names such as Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth), Damian Wilson (Ayreon, Threshold), Tom Englund (Evergrey), and Roy Khan (Kamelot). Mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studios, the double album spans 19 tracks and over 1.5 hours of music.
The physical release will be available in a luxurious 3-LP trifold package with full artwork, lyrics, and liner notes, as well as a 2-CD edition.
